West Indies cricket legend Brian Lara has left fans guessing after sharing a throwback photograph with Prince William on Instagram, captioning the snap with the playful question, “Guess the topic?”
The post comes after the pair met during Cricket on The Mall in London, where the Prince of Wales took to the pitch alongside some of the biggest names in international cricket.
While Lara's caption kept followers wondering what the two might have been discussing, the former cricketer had already offered his own verdict on William's performance with the bat and ball.

The friendly match brought together cricket stars from India and the UK, including former India captain Sourav Ganguly, Ajinkya Rahane, England's Joe Root and Harry Brook, and former England fast bowler James Anderson.
Lara was impressed by the Prince's potential as a batter, although he felt there was room for improvement when it came to his bowling.
“He underrates himself because he's a big football fan, as we all know.
I think his bowling needs a lot of work but his batting across the line, he'd just be my sort of number six or number seven batter - the guy that comes in at the end, and if he hits a couple of boundaries, he hits a couple of boundaries,” Lara said.
Former India captain Ganguly also gave William's batting a favourable review, admitting that the Prince had the upper hand over him at present.

“He's better than me at the moment because I just picked up a cricket bat for the first time in eight or nine years,” Ganguly said, praising William's friendly and down-to-earth nature.
It helped promote The Earthshot Prize, the environmental initiative launched by the Prince of Wales in 2020.
