SC issues notices to Chairman NAB, officials in Kamran Faisal case

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has issued notices to Chairman NAB, other senior officials of the bureau and Chairman PTA in the mysterious death case of Kamran Faisal.

A two-member bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja was hearing the case on Thursday.

The court issued notices to Chairman NAB, other senior officials involved in the matter from January 15, 2013.

The SC sought the probe report from Islamabad police and database of telephone calls from PTA.

The court also directed to submit CCTV footages of federal lodges, residence of Kamran Faisal and an unofficial meeting of NAB that took place on January 17.

The apex court has also sought video of the dead body and a postmortem report of deceased Kamran from S.M Polyclinic.
