Altaf welcomes ISPR statement on Munawar Hasan’s remarks

LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has welcomed the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, condemning irresponsible remarks of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Munawar Hasan, Geo News reported.

Altaf Hussain said JI Ameer had insulted the sacrifices rendered by soldiers and officers of Pak forces for national security.

MQM chief further said bold stance of Pak Army’s spokesman over Munawar Hasan’s inappropriate statement have won the hearts of 180 million people of Pakistan. He said this has proven that national security institutions are prepared to protect the lives and property of masses with courage as they did so in the past.
