Iraq’s Al Najaf football club make Rs4 million offer for Kaleemullah

KARACHI: Pakistan football team’s top forward Kaleemullah has received an offer from Iraq’s top football club “Al Najaf FC”, the former captain revealed on Thursday.

Kaleem, who’s currently playing for Turkey’s Igdirspor FC, told geo.tv that he has received a lucrative offer from the top football club of Iraq.

“They have offered me to play season’s four-month with a package of around 4 million PKR,” Kaleem told geo.tv

Al Najaf is top football club from Iraq, it played AFC Champions League in 2007 and currently featuring in the top premier league of Iraq.

Kaleem says that the club is one of the best among all clubs of Gulf countries and it will be a very good opportunity.

“I haven’t made my mind entirely, but I am really excited about the offer and I would look forward to playing for such a club,” said Kaleem who has over a 100 goals

“I will have to see how my transfer from my club in Turkey can be done,” said Kaleem who’s currently signed with Turkey’s Igdirspor FC.

Kaleem has represented Pakistan in 25 international games. He has also played for various clubs in Pakistan, Kazakhstan, USA, and Turkey.
