Artists, social media lavish praise on ‘Laal Kabootar’

Pakistani film ‘Laal Kabootar’, shortly after its release, has mesmerised fans through its strong content and brilliant acting by the cast. This can be gauged from the fact that the social media and fellow film industry actors are full for praises for the film.

Crime thriller' Lal Kabootar' hit cinemas screens across the country on Friday. The film has been produced by siblings Hania Chima and Kamil Chima in collaboration with Geo Films and Nehr Ghar films.

Directed by Kamal Khan, 'Laal Kabootar' stars Ahmed Ali Akbar and Mansha Pasha in lead roles.

Actress Meera Sethi said that the film is among the top films of the decades, hailing it as a ‘game changer’ for the contemporary Pakistani cinema.

Actor Osman Khalid Butt and Humayun Saeed highly praised the film, with former saying that it should be a priority for viewers to watch over the weekend.

Young actor Bilal Khan called the film, ‘incredibly good’.

Last month an action-packed trailer of the crime thriller was a released. The two-minute long trailer showed Adeel Nawaz played by Akbar as a taxi-driver looking for a way out of Karachi to Dubai. It also featured Pasha playing the role of Aliya Malik, a strong-headed girl whose world turns upside down in a series of incidents.

Social media also was not behind in lavishing praise on the movie.

Some fans even think it is the best film to date.
