Royal tour of Prince William and Kate Middleton to Pakistan has Twitter buzzing with excitement

Ever since the arrival of the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge in Pakistan, the country has been buzzing with anticipation for this complex and challenging international tour. 

In the glitz and glamour of security and praise, Pakistan warmly welcomed the royal family on Pakistani soil with roaring support.

Since their red carpet entry at the Nur Khan air base in Rawalpindi on the evening of October 14, the royal couple, donned in traditional Pakistani clothing crafted by British designer Catherine Walker, began a tour which will undoubtedly go down in history as an example of the cordial relationship between the two countries.

Kensington Palace issued a statement on the occasion, stating that, “Whilst the Duke and Duchess’s program will pay respect to the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan, it will largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today – a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation.”

Through these hashtags the youth of Pakistan intend to show their endearing support towards the Royal family as well as in the form of a symbol of support, for strengthened ties between the two nations in the hope that they will stay positive in the years to come.
