Rapper Kid Cudi Coachella set ends with accident

Rapper Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi aka Kid Cudi’s broken his foot while jumping from stage resulting in an abrupt end to his Coachella set.

A fan shared a video on X (formerly known as Twitter), recorded video from the front row showing Kid Cudi trying to stand up while two crew members helping him to get him to get on his feet.

The 40-year-old rapper performed for 40 minutes at the Sahara tent of the Musical Festival on Sunday, April 21.

At the end of his set, the rapper jumped off the stage and twisted his ankle.

Later Kid Cudi took to X ( formerly known as Twitter) to update his fans about his injury, “Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show. just leavin the hospital. Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy.”

“I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big,” he added.

According to the Dessert Sun he was left with one and half songs more to perform.

Moreover, on Tuesday, April 16, Coachella announced him as a last-minute replacement for Vampire Weekend.

For those unversed, earlier this week on Wednesday, April 17, Kid Cudi announced his engagement to fiancée Lola Abecassis Sartore.
