Zendaya gets honest about Challengers 'pressure' to deliver

Zendaya is not hiding behind the wall as an actress she is truthful and open about her thoughts as her forthcoming daring tennis drama Challengers is soon up into the audience arena for judgment.

In a chat with Entertainment Weekly, the Dune star admitted, "I always am nervous — I wish I was joking," adding, "From a personal perspective, this is my first time leading a film in this way, so I've felt that pressure, that fear, burden, or whatever from the beginning of just wanting to make something that I'm proud of and enjoy it, and sometimes that can be very difficult."

It is not the first time the Emmy winner shared she was nervous about the upcoming film. In an earlier online post, Zendaya penned a thoughtful note writing, “A little bts dump in honor of @challengersmovie coming out in a couple days. This is my first time leading a film in this way so ya girls been nervous but everyone’s excitement and encouragement has meant the world to me."
