Taylor Swift has bid farewell to her record-breaking Eras Tour, calling it "the most thrilling chapter of my life."
Swift ended her Eras Tour on Sunday, December 8, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.
According to the report of The New York Times, citing the Enchanted crooner's production company, Taylor Swift Touring, the Eras Tour made $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, which is "double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”
The company also shared that 10,168,008 people attended the concerts.
Notably, the same outlet mentioned that Coldplay is second, with $1 billion in ticket sales from their Music of the Spheres World Tour, which started in March 2022 and runs until September 2025.
Moreover, concluding her historic tour, the 34-year-old pop sensation constantly showed gratitude to her fans several times for making the tour so special in a video shared on X (previously Twitter).
She called the tour a record-breaking run that changed the cultural landscape.
Before signing the final track, Karma, the 14-time Grammy winner said, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date—my beloved Eras Tour.”
In addition, prior to singing, the Gorgeous singer also gave a final “lover” speech, quipping, “We have toured the entire world... we have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, and most challenging thing I've ever done in my entire life."
"We've gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour,” Taylor Swift concluded by revealing.
