Brianne Howey, an American actress, discussed the upcoming season of her show Ginny and Georgia in a new interview.
She had previously called the third season “unhinged” and didn’t shy away from the description the second time, claiming it is "even more so now that we've had a little distance."
"I'm blown away that the writers are still able to show us completely new sides of each character, and that's what you're going to see in season three," she elaborated.
The actress continued, "You will see a lot of grit and hustle, but in an entirely new way. Georgia has to dig deeper into a part of herself we haven't seen yet. So, she has to use that grit in all new ways."
Touching on the tumultuous relationship between the titular characters, she noted that viewers will see "new similarities between them as well as enormous differences."
The second season of the series came to a shocking end as Georgia got arrested for murder while her family was left watching in shock.
The creator of the series, Sarah Lampert, discussed her plans for the cliffhanger, explaining, "How we pitched season one and then how we ended our pitch of season two was, 'Then Georgia's married to Paul, they're having their first dance, and she's arrested for murder. So it was always the plan."
Teasing the future seasons, she concluded that "all of the dominoes have been set up as far back as season one."
