Firefighters are at the front in battling deadly fires in LA, and Prince Harry continues to back them in their work.
This week, the Duke of Sussex visited the Salinas Fire Department in California. There, he raised the "morales" of the crews and stroked the fire service's therapy dogs.
In the post on Instagram, the department shared, "Cruz and Taffy, Facility Dog's with the Salinas Fire Dept, along with their friends, have been actively assisting in the efforts to combat the LA fires, providing much-needed support to firefighters and affected communities."
"In an inspiring turn of events, they also had the opportunity to meet Prince Harry, who is known for his philanthropic work and advocacy on various social issues, including disaster relief," the captioned reads.
"This encounter not only boosted their morale but also emphasised the importance of community and collaboration in the face of such devastating challenges," it concluded.
Harry, though, was alone when he visited the department, but he, along with his wife Meghan Markle, had earlier donated to the relief efforts of Los Angeles wildfires.
