Kelly Ripa shares shocking story of her passport picture

Kelly Ripa has revealed where she made use of one of her paparazzi pictures.

The 54-year-old American actress and talk show host appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark on Tuesday, May 6, and admitted that her passport now gives her “relentless pride,” in which she used a paparazzi picture.

While conversing with the show’s host and her husband, Mark Consuelos, Ripa shared that she was “under the wire” while doing her passport pictures, but she selected the option “where you could select your photo."

“I used a paparazzi photo of me from an event, and I look stunning. Kristopher Buckle did my makeup; I’m smiling with my teeth. So when they see me arrive, they’re like, ‘Walk through that again?’ And I’m like, ‘I swear it’s me,’” the Nightcap star added.

“It’s an abnormal, amazing photo. You know how everyone’s ashamed of their passport photo? I show mine with relentless pride! I’m like, ‘Look at MY passport!’” Ripa cheerfully noted.

Consuelos called the whole situation a little “ridiculous” because passport photos are meant to be “serious.”

“It’s a little ridiculous, honestly. Your hair’s all flouncy. It’s a serious event when you show your passport. You gotta be serious!” he jokingly remarked.

Responding to her husband, Ripe said, “No, not me. I’m like, ‘Look at me!’”
