Lorde shares her secret behind Met Ball 2025 look

Singer-songwriter Lorde just revealed that she had dropped fans a hint into her new LP while she strutted across the Met Ball red carpet.

For those unversed, the singer’s upcoming LP is titled Virgin and the Easter egg left to fans promises “all will be revealed”.

She dished on the whole thing, right on the red carpet, with Emma Chamberlain.

“This is my creation,” she started by saying. “It’s something of an Easter egg,” and “all will be revealed.”

She even gushed over the custom-made Tom Brown dress during the chat and explained, “I just love the open back. To me it represents where I’m at gender-wise. I feel like a man and a woman, you know?”

It is pertinent to mention that this year’s exhibition was called “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

The album will drop on June 27th, 2025 and features a “hypnotic, synth-pop number” too, What Was That, that was released ahead of the rest of the album.
