SNL fires politically charged ridicule of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle

Jost, the host of yesterday’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) episode delivered their version of the headlines a few hours ago, and it discussed everything from the trade deals happening to the appointment of the new Pope, to Biden, and other major world news.

However the kicker that left fans laughing was his comment about the US and UK trade deal between Sir Keir Starmer and Donald Trump.

“President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the UK that will reopen British markets for American companies,” he began by saying.

And “all that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two,” followed by an image of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

It is pertinent to mention that backlash against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has just dwindled at all since Megxit but what landed the two in hot waters was Prince Harry’s interview with the BBC and Meghan’s birthday tribute to her son Prince Archie which many called ‘glum’.
