Jordon Hudson will likely compete in the next Miss Maine USA again.

A source revealed to People Magazine that despite falling short of the crown at this year's Miss Maine USA pageant, the former cheerleader, 24, is determined to try again.

"Knowing Jordan, this is something that she really wants. So if it's something that she wants to work towards in the future, she'll do it again, and she'll come back even stronger," the insider said of Hudson, who is dating former NFL coach Bill Belichick, 73.

"For some girls, a lower placement gets them more excited to come back and to prove themselves," the source added. "What a lot of people say is, 'Different day, different judges, different rankings.' We can do this all over again with five new judges and it could be a completely different outcome."

Hudson, who was placed third at the statewide event behind winner Shelby Howell and runner-up Mara Carpenter, was at the centre of controversy throughout the pageant for dating someone much senior.

Regardless, Belichick was seated in the front row on both days to support his girlfriend. The couple took their romance public in 2024 after meeting on a plane ride three years prior.
