Prince William is coming for the Sussexes' sails next: ‘Harsh or vindictive won't matter'

Prince William is reportedly at his wits end and experts suspect the moment he is announced King, there will be changes in store for the Sussexes.

This claim has been made by royal commentator Daniela Elser in her piece for News.com. au.

That piece highlighted just how bad things have gotten between the brothers, and included claims by a former courtier.

This courtier told Tom Sykes from the Daily Beast, “Charles might be happy to put up with this, but William won’t. He loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body, he believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him.”

In light of that Ms Elser stepped forward with her own thoughts and she believes, “the options available to a King William to trim the Sussexes’ sails would be limited but it is clear he will take a far more hard line stance.”

All of which just means, “in both Windsor and Montecito, both sides appear to be digging in and doubling down,” and “any chance of a detente appears non-existent.”

Through this whole ordeal of a rift and the growing divide, “two things have come into focus” she said.

Number one being “the Duchess of Sussex is following her own star and is increasingly embracing life as a public figure, interviews included, and doing what she must to build her lifestyle business.”

Meanwhile, Prince William seems to be gearing up for “pursuing the couple’s remaining royal perks,” something she believes would be seen as ‘vindictive’ coming from a monarch.

Still “if that was the case, it’s hard to see Harry and Meghan taking such a blow lying down.”

Perhaps there will be “a Meghan book, a follow-up from Harry to Spare, more Oprah? The Sussexes have long since proven they will fight for what they think is right and fair and will speak up, and speak up some more,” she also added in her concluding statement.
