Only 27% of Britons have a positive opinion of Prince Harry, with 63% having a negative view of him, his worst score since early 2023, according to the results of The latest YouGov royal favourability tracker poll.
The poll was conducted after Prince Harry's bombshell interview with BBC in which he expressed desire for reconciliation with the royal family.
Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, continued to score poorly among the public, with only 20% having a positive opinion of her while 65% hold a negative view.
The one in five with a positive view of the Duchess of Sussex was the lowest YouGov recorded since it started tracking her popularity in 2017.
"Attitudes towards the Sussexes continue to differ greatly between the generations – while 18-24 year olds are split on the pair, they are very widely disliked by the oldest Britons, with 81-86% having an unfavourable view of them," according to the poll results which suggested that Meghan Markle's popularity reached lowest point to date.
In his emotional interview with the BBC earlier this month, Prince Harry said he wanted reconciliation with the British royal family, but his father King Charles will not speak to him over a row about his security.
Harry said he did not know how long the monarch, who has cancer, would live.
"I would love reconciliation with my family," Harry said. "Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile."
Harry stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and moved to the United States, where he lives in California with his American wife Meghan and their two children.
