Kensington Palace releases statement after Prince William's big step

Kensington Palace has released a major statement after Prince of Wales Prince William’s latest big move.

The palace shared a trailer of Prince William’s new documentary with a heartfelt statement.

The office of Kate Middleton and Prince William says, “Rangers play a critical role as the first line of defence in the protection and conservation of our natural world.

“Every day, they take huge risks, standing between poachers and endangered species, protecting biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance.”

The statement further reads, “United for Wildlife are celebrating these remarkable individuals, and their tireless efforts to protect some of our most valued natural assets, in a groundbreaking new docuseries, ‘Guardians’.”

The United for Wildlife also tweeted, “Rangers are on the front line in the fight to protect our endangered species and ecosystems.

“Join us in exploring their incredible stories in 'Guardians', a new docuseries created with our founder Prince William and @BBCEarth.”

Prince William also commented on its tweet saying, “Every day, rangers take huge risks, standing between poachers and endangered species, protecting biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance."

Last month, the United for Wildlife shared photos of Prince William and Kate saying, “For over 20 years, the rangers of Mull and Iona have been protecting the unforgettable landscapes and connecting communities with nature, history, and wildlife.”

New funding from United for Wildlife ensures their vital work continues - safeguarding these areas of rural beauty, inspiring outdoor education, and keeping nature accessible for all.

“During their visit to the Isles, Their Royal Highnesses joined a local school group to explore the beautiful Ardura Community Forest - nurturing the next generation of nature’s guardians,” it added.
