George and Amal Clooney's marriage may just collapse as the human rights lawyer may get banned from America.

George and Amal have been surrounded by divorce rumors for the past few months. Sources said the couple, who live in Europe, were at odds because the actor’s work in a Broadway musical made him stay in New York City.

While Amal and the kids followed him there for the run of his play, George reportedly wants to do more plays and stay longer. Amal, on the other hand, has businesses in Europe and wants to return.

Now, her work with the International Criminal Court investigating war crimes of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the Palestinians, may get her sanctioned by President Donald Trump.

"This is a disaster. Everyone's predicting it will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back when it comes to their marriage," a source told Radar Online.

Now that the Ocean’s Eleven star has been nominated for a Tony award for his role in Broadway play, Good Night, and Good Luck, he wants to stay much longer in NYC.

The source explained, "Amal's job as a human rights lawyer frequently requires her to be out of the country… and if his wife is barred from entering by the president’s edict, he'll have to give up on those plans, or face spending huge amounts of time apart."

"If Amal's barred from reentering the States, she'll have to spend 100 percent of her time abroad and that's not going to work for George – who won't shelve his Hollywood or potential political career ambitions,” the source shared.

"This could spell the end for them. Their marriage now truly is hanging by a thread," the tipster warned.

George and Amal Clooney got married in 2014 and are parents to twins Alexander and Ella, 7.
