Aubrey Plaza just attended the Cannes Film Festival.
On May 23, for the premiere of her upcoming film, Honey Don’t! she walked the red carpet along with her co-stars Margaret Qualley and Charlie Day, as well as filmmakers Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke.
She wore a full-length, nude, sleeveless dress embellished with gems and a sheer ensemble that had a matching corset underneath, tying the look together with dangling diamond earrings.
Plaza’s red-carpet appearance is her first since the death of her husband, writer and director Jeff Baena, in January.
As per TMZ, an assistant found Baena’s body in their LA home and was pronounced dead at the scene, and the manner of death being ruled as a suicide by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner.
In a statement to PEOPLE magazine on January 6, Aubrey Plaza stated, “This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time."
Six weeks later, she made her first public appearance for the 50th anniversary celebration of Saturday Night Live on February 16, where she paid tribute to Baena with a tie-dye T-shirt.
