Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finding it harder to win support of British public but Prince William is becoming more popular, a new report has revealed.
A new YouGov poll showed that 75 percent of people in the UK hold a positive view of William, the Prince of Wales, making him the most liked living royal.
William’s wife, Kate Middleton, is also very popular and came in just behind him in the rankings.
Speaking on the matter, royal expert Jennie Bond said William must be “doing something right” and praised how friendly and relaxed he is during his royal duties.
She further noted that people like that he speaks clearly without sounding too posh and that he often wears casual clothes like jeans and trainers.
“His informal, approachable way of going about his work is resonating with the public,” Bond said, as per GB News.
"Even the way he talks is different to previous generations. He's well spoken, of course, but not overly posh. He dresses well, of course, but is quite often wearing jeans and trainers.
“He'll pose for selfies with the crowds; he'll even work the camera for them if they get flustered!"
This comes after William and Kate were recently praised for their “modern royal agenda” and were included in TIME100’s Most Influential People in Philanthropy for 2025.
Whereas, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not featured on the list with only 20% of people had a positive view of Meghan, while 65% viewed her negatively, as per the new poll.
This is a big drop from 2019, when 55% of the public supported her. Meanwhile, Harry’s popularity has also gone down, especially after his interview with the BBC.
