Ana de Armas is confessing to having had chaotic reactions to action scenes in one of her upcoming films.

The Cuban-Spanish actress, 37, revealed in a new interview that shooting action film Ballerina wasn't all fun and games as the actress found herself screaming and running for her life most times.

"I remember at random times on set, people just screaming, 'Snake!' de Armas told Stellar Magazine, recalling how the film set was frequently being interrupted by unexpected pests.

A snake catcher was on set at all times to clear the set of such threats. Yet, the film crew faced several chaotic interruptions.

"Stopping the take right away—whatever was happening, whoever was talking—we literally dropped everything and ran away, waiting for the guy to come with the stick and take the snake out."

"But I think we were fine... no accidents happened," the actress added.

Besides a busy summer promoting two upcoming blockbuster films, de Armas is also making headlines with her speculated romance with Tom Cruise as the pair has been spotted at dinners and flying around in helicopters.

One source shot down dating speculations with Cruise, saying the Valentine's Day dinner was the pair merely "discussing potential collaborations down the line."

They added that the pair "appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends."

The actress was previously married to Spanish model Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013 and later went on to date Ben Affleck from early 2020 until late 2021.

Before the dating rumours associated with Cruise, the actress was linked to the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel. Meanwhile, Cruise has had three divorces so far, speculations leading to his association with the controversial religion Scientology.
