How Hugh Jackman is doing after ex-wife 'betrayal' remarks?

Deborra-Lee Furness, the ex-wife of Hugh Jackman, recently sparked a storm when she broke silence after two years on her split, saying it was "betrayal."

Her comments come on the heels of reports that the Australian star had an affair with his co-star Sutton Foster while being married to the Shame actress.

"My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It’s a profound wound that cuts deep," she said in a statement to the press.

Although the X-Men star did not publicly react to the comments, his longtime friend did.

Gus Worland said on Ben Fordham Live, “It’s not just that statement, but the last couple of years have been difficult."

He continued, “No one wants anyone to go through what they’ve been through, and, of course, they go through everything publicly because of the type of people and fame that they have."

“One thing I’ve really been strict on, or disciplined on, is to let them do what they have to do."

"I was over in New York with [Jackman] last month and he’s fine. He is going along well. He’s moving on with his life and I hope that Deb does as well," Gus concluded.
