Lady Gaga set the stage ablaze Saturday night at Netflix’s Tudum event with a surprise performance celebrating the hit series Wednesday, and stunned fans further by bringing out the show’s lead, Jenna Ortega, for a dramatic on-stage reveal.

The Oscar-winning singer delivered an electrifying 8-minute medley at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, including her latest single Abracadabra.

Emerging from a coffin labeled Here Lies the Mother Queen, Gaga leaned into the gothic theme with Addams Family-inspired theatrics and dancers dressed as variations of Wednesday Addams.

Gaga even broke into the viral dance from Season 1, originally performed by Ortega to The Cramps’ Goo Goo Muck, which fans famously mashed up with Gaga’s own Bloody Mary

The moment reached its peak when Ortega joined Gaga on stage, staying fully in character as Wednesday while navigating a spiderweb-laced dining table.

In a show stopping finale, Gaga sang Zombieboy, slipped into a blood-red velvet gown, and closed with a dramatic version of the Addams Family theme before vanishing back into her coffin, blowing a kiss as it sealed shut.

Netflix used the moment to officially confirm Gaga’s cameo in Wednesday Season 2, revealing she will play Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore Academy teacher.

The streamer posted, “Welcome to Nevermore, Mother Monster.”

Filmed in Ireland over a single day, Gaga’s appearance had been speculated since late 2023.

Fans were left buzzing after she posted a post-show coffin selfie with Ortega, captioned, “#DEAD @jennaortega love u lady.”

Part 1 of Wednesday Season 2 premieres August 6, with Part 2 arriving September 3.
