Prince William, the Prince of Wales' royal cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will reportedly be an asset to him once he becomes King.
Beatrice and Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew, the Prince of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, are ninth and 12th in the line of throne. They have always supported their uncle King Charles and the royal family.
Royal experts suggest that the heir to the throne, William, will need Beatrice and Eugenie in the future.
Speaking with Hello! Magazine, Ingrid Seward stated, "When William ascends the throne, Beatrice and Eugenie will be valuable assets, and I'm certain they will get involved with royal duties."
"It makes perfect sense, because he will need them," she added.
Ingrid went on to add, "I see them as a sort of double act, working together in the same way as married couples do. Two gorgeous Princesses working together as sisters would be very powerful. I think it would be wonderful, and I think it will happen."
Notably, Ingrid also suggested that Eugenie and Beatrice "would be open" to do more when Prince William becomes King. "They have always been close to William, and the King is very fond of them too."
It is worth mentioning that while the daughters of Andrew can not carry out official royal duties, they still make sure to step in an unofficial way.
The youngest daughter of Andrew joined Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales when they hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace. Eugenie was also announced as mentor of The King's Foundations 35 Under 35 network.
Meanwhile, Beatrice joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at Kew Gardens for a special event celebrating the work of the Elephant Family. Notably, the eldest daughter of Andrew is also one of the seven Counsellors of State appointed to undertake duties on behalf of King Charles.
As the monarchy is said to have been "slimmed down" the royal expert suggests that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are "being kept on ice."
