Fantastic Four star Ralph Ineson has opened up about his preparation for the role.

Speaking with the Empire, Ralph, who is set to play Galactus in the new Marvel blockbuster the Fantastic Four: First Step, shared that he got in trouble while preparing for the role.

For those unaware, Galactus is a cosmic entity that eats the life of planets. He appears as a human-like giant in comics.

Ralph revealed that to get into his character’s headspace he needed to think large. “I also went to a lot of tall buildings. We went to a wedding at the top of the Gherkin building in London, and I spent most of the afternoon just staring out, ruminating,” he said.

The actor hilariously added, “I got in trouble with my wife – she was like, ‘You’ve got to say hello to the bride and groom at some point!’”

It is worth mentioning that Fantastic Four: First Steps starring Ralph Ineson alongside Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn, is scheduled to release on July 25, 2025.
