Meghan Markle’s ability to play the victim from a castle, while being married to a prince has sparked ridicule at the hands of comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon.
The host of The Tim Dillon Show spoke with Fox News Digital about his thoughts on the matter and made some sly quips about Meghan.
When starting off he called Meghan his ‘favorite’ comedic target to the outlet and commented on her victim narrative as well.
Explaining why he think this narrative ‘stuck’ he said, “I think it's just that she came to prominence at a time when there was a real cultural cachet to being a victim. And I thought it was a very funny way to be a victim, and she found a way to be a victim while living in a castle.”
He even admitted, “I always found that very funny,” and added that “I think she's a great comedic actress.”
Because “there was real currency in being a victim when she rose to prominence, and she became a victim living in a castle married to a prince with the royal wedding,” he added.
But overall, Mr Dillon admitted as well, “It's hard to pull it off” but “she did it, to her credit.”
But still, near the end he did point out “you know, most people that you know were putting out that they were victims during that era were, to their credit, not members of the royal family.”
“Harry seems like he's kind of been led around and he kind of doesn't know what's going on. It's probably all an adventure for him, right?”
