The make or break moment Prince William and Kate Middleton had found themselves in, the past year has led to many a chats about their ‘extraordinary’ stability.

Royal historian Amanda Foreman was the one to deliver this loved up statement in his interview with Fox News Digital.

In the eyes of this expert, the way the couple managed their royal responsibilities while steering away from a possible divorce in the last year is praise worthy.

He was even quoted saying, “The last five years have been a nightmare for them in every possible way – the past year even more so.”

That is because such a thing as cancer “either crushes a marriage or it brings them together.”

For those still unversed, Kate suffered from cancer and partook in timely chemotherapy treatments all the way through last year.

While her type of cancer still remains undisclosed, the hospital where she received treatment did have a data breach that threated to oust her particular cancer type.

She is currently in remission however, and announced that on January 2025.

Foreman feels it was “just in time,” too because “frankly – if there was ever a time when the country required stability, this is it.”

Because at the moment “the international stage is so unstable, it is rather extraordinary to see how both have risen to the occasion.”

It is also pertinent to mention that around the same time as Kate, Sarah Ferguson and King Charles were also diagnosed with cancer.
