T-Pain hints at making big decision in new video

T-Pain has spent 20 years in the music industry. But his latest video seems to hint that he is mulling retirement.

In the clip, several footage of his milestones was shown, and he pensively looks outside the window, “This might be it.”

His probable retirement plan is further hinted at in the texts. “Been at this for 20 years. I’m talking it over with my family and team. Got a big decision to make.”

“I gave you all everything for 20 years,” he penned. “I’m grateful to each of you for making this such a great ride. Right now I just need some time to think about what’s next and what’s best for me.”

The Grammy winner seemingly stopped short of announcing retirement, but it’s worth noting that he has several upcoming shows lined up, including a TP20 fall tour in October to celebrate his career.

"This tour is not just a celebration, it's a thank you to everyone that was there in 2005 and to everyone now who's just catching onto the wave," he said.

"It's for the college kids that played my records at all those parties. It's for those same people that are now parents and are putting their kids on to what they loved so much back in those days," T-Pain concluded.
