Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet are turning into Meghan’s answer for everything?

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have just been dragged into a lot of talk by commentators who believe her kids to be her ‘answer to everything’.

Columnist and feature writer Celia Walden penned this claim in her piece for The Telegraph.

it began with her saying. “The cynical marketeers are right: those kids could very well be the answer to everything.”

The reason for this is Meghan’s positioning of her kids on social media.

An example of which could be seen during her Disney photo dump where unlike the past Meghan chose to cover her children’s faces not via creative censorship (i.e. taking back shots or side angle shots) but by using stickers.

In the eyes of the writer, “First, they give Meghan the ‘relatability’ factor she has always lacked, partly by being very beautiful, and partly by making a series of bad judgment calls from the start.”

These calls relate to her past business moves, interview decisions etc.

But another thing is that “second, the children will keep her ‘relevant’. And yes, that word comes with dollar signs attached, but it’s about far more than that.”

After all, “in a world where attention spans are gnat-like and celebrities aren’t always – how can I put this? – endowed with a whole range of talents that will ensure their longevity, remaining relevant is a constant battle and children useful tools,” Ms Walden added.

Not to mention “when those children are royal, they go from being useful to invaluable.”

But “third, and perhaps of particular importance to the Sussexes, if you have philanthropic pretensions and want to be perceived as having gravitas, children are an enormous asset,” she noted.

Because “an endless array of worthy causes can be attached to kids, and in Meghan and Harry’s case, that personal touch, that banal parenting anecdote, will always get you immediate, global attention.”

The conversation only ended when she posed her own hypothesis about how the Sussex kids may finally come out of ‘hiding’ and “If I were to hazard a guess, I’d predict a carefully worded talk-show tirade about how the children ‘shouldn’t have to hide from the world’, just because of the family they were born into.”

But “you have to be completely unashamed to pull off that kind of U-turn, but I don’t think that’ll be a problem,” she concluded her jibe by adding too.
