Sydney Sweeney makes shocking admission about filming bold scenes

Sydney Sweeney is opening up about her experience filming nude scenes.

The actress, 27, shared in a recent interview that despite her stage fright, nude acting doesn't overwhelm her.

"I don't get nervous," she told the outlet for its Special Summer Issue as she began to credit her role as Cassie Euphoria for giving her that "confidence and self-awareness."

"I think that the female body is a very powerful thing," the White Lotus star continued. "And I'm telling my character's story, so I owe it to them to tell it well and to do what needs to be done."

This isn't the first time the Euphoria star has spoken on the subject. 

"We all get naked in real life," she told Teen Vogue in March 2022. "We show this character's life and what they're going through. Cassie's body is a different form of communication for her."

However, the actress admits there have been instances where she spoke up when nude scenes were not necessary in her opinion.

In an interview with The Independent in January 2022 around the launch of Euphoria's second season, the actress shared that she asked the show's producers to alter some scenes to exclude nudity that didn't contribute to the plot.

In her next professional endeavour, Sweeney will next appear in Echo Valley, which hits theaters on June 13.
