Denzel Washington's anger issues force pals to take drastic measures?

Denzel Washington is reportedly being forced by his friends.

According to Radar Online, the 70-year-old American actor and director has been advised by his pals to seek anger management after he engaged himself in a heated moment on the red carpet.

For the unversed, at the Cannes Film Festival last month, Washington got angry at the photographer who pulled on his sleeve on the red carpet.

Referring to the Academy Award-winning actor, the sources shared, "He's wound so tightly, it’s not healthy.”

"It's a disturbing thing to see someone of Denzel's calibre losing it on a red carpet all because someone tapped him on the arm. The feeling is that he could have handled it better," they noted.

Notably, this was not the first time the Highest 2 Lowest star lost his calm. In October 2024, he yelled at fans who asked him to sign autographs in New York.

In addition, he erupted at Ellen Pompeo while directing her in Grey’s Anatomy, as she improvised a line without bringing it to his knowledge.

"He's known to be extremely unpredictable. He's very well respected in the industry but he's a complicated man," the sources remarked.
