Prince William has launched a new vision with an aim to restore nature and build climate resistance through sustainable farming.
In his efforts to address the climate change and environmental issues, the eldest son has launched initiatives like the Earthshot Prize, which provides over £50 million to support groundbreaking environmental solutions.
The official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales on Thursday shared multiple pictures of the future king with the announcement that he launched a new 20-year landscape vision for Dartmoor with the Duchy of Cornwall.
According to the Kensington Palace, Prince William's plan, which was co-created with farmers, ecologists and local communities, focuses on restoring nature, building climate resistance and supporting sustainable farming.
The Duchy of Cornwall is a private estate which funds the private, public, and charitable activities of the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall, currently Prince William.
Last month, William spoke to a British newspaper in a rare interaction to discuss his plans about Duchy of Cornwall.
The Prince of Wales "allowed The Telegraph to join him on what has become known as a “Duchy day” for the first time since he took it over."
According to the newspaper it also interviewed tenants and senior staff, who are working to bring the future king's vision to life, to provide "the clearest picture yet of the 42-year-old Prince in a new phase of life"
The eldest son of King Charles inherited the Duchy of Cornwall upon his father's a accession to the throne after Queens Elizabeth's death.
According to the Telegraph, William is leading it with a reforming zeal and a refreshing disregard for formality.
"He is, unmistakably, a man on a mission: to reform his Duchy so it is fit for 2025 and beyond; a "positive force for good that "make people's lives better"
"We are not the traditional landowner," William told Telegraph "We want to be more than that."
