Kelly Ripa takes a dig at her 'Live' show segment

Kelly Ripa is known for speaking her mind on her daytime talk show Live and in her latest appearence, she carried on with this.

In line with this, her candid opinion became all too visible when she took a dig at the segment about what “fun” activities the parents would do with their kids during the summer break.

"As school is winding down, we'll give you a look at fun activities you can do with your kids this summer," her co-host and husband Mark Consuelos said.

But, the 54-year-old did not hold back her thoughts on it, saying, “Listen, I'm just going to say something. The activities are never that fun."

She continued, “I'm going out on a limb and saying, we're going to show you activities that you're probably not going to do with your kids this summer.”

Since 1996, Mark and Kelly have been married. But if they ever spilt, the latter joked he would date a college student.

"I know if you and I broke up you would absolutely fall apart, completely," the mum-of-three said.

In agreement, he replied, "That's true." However, the host teased,  "But I do feel like someone would be there on the other end just to pick me up and make sure I'm okay. I'd have to get used to their college schedule and all that stuff."

Continuing the joke, Kelly said, "Oh, dear God, I hope I live to see your second wife!."
