Princess Eugenie brought smiles and comfort to survivors with her latest move as she visited a Salvation Army safe house for survivors of modern slavery.
As co-founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective, the daughter of Prince Andrew was warmly welcomed by residents who showed her around their home.
In an Instagram video posted on their official page, she could be heart saying, “"Today I went on a wonderful tour of this wonderful safe house.
“I think it’s really important that people are aware that human trafficking and modern slavery exist today."
They wrote in the caption, “HRH Princess Eugenie recently visited a Salvation Army safe house for survivors of modern slavery.”
“Two residents gave the Princess, who is a co-founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective, a tour of their home, including the gym, multi-faith room, sensory space and craft room.
“They then went on to do a lino printing session with other survivors of modern slavery who receive support at the safe house.”
Quoting a resident, they further added, “When we meet people like the Princess, we feel our voice is heard.”
This comes amid reports Eugenie has strengthened her bond with William, the Prince of Wales, who is next in line for the British throne.
Recently, Eugenie joined William at royal events like the Buckingham Palace Garden Party and Ascot, as their bond grows closer.
This growing closeness stands in contrast to her reportedly strained relationship with Prince Harry, whom she once supported strongly.
An insider told The Sun, "Eugenie has been supportive of Harry and Meghan for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship - but it has now soured."
Meanwhile, another report suggested that William may turn to Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice for support after becoming king despite support King Charles’ stance on slimming down the monarchy.
