Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Broadus celebrate 28 years of marriage

Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus are marking 28 years of marital bliss.

On account of their special day, the hip-hop singer and cookbook author, 53, took to Instagram with a red carpet photo of the longtime couple. The Buttons singer kept his caption short, only tagging his wife with a blue heart and a bouquet emoji.

Broadus, also 53, dropped a carousel of photos together along with a throwback snap from earlier on in their relationship.

"Happy Anniversary @snoopdogg Thank You For All You Do #28," she wrote in her caption with two blue hearts—which the rapper reshared on his Instagram Stories as well as a few congratulatory posts from friends, including hip-hop producer Nottz Daruler, music label Death Row Records, and Bora Bora-based photographer and videographer Sadry Ghacir.

Snoop and Broadus were high school sweethearts and also went to prom together when they attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California.

The couple married in June 1997 at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey. Though they briefly separated in 2004, they reconciled and later renewed their vows in 2008.

They share three kids now and several grandchildren. However, Snoop also shares a son with Laurie Helmond.
