Henry Winkler is all set for his new TV adventure, diving into the bizarre and surprising past of America.

The 79-year-old actor, who is starring in a new series on The History Channel, Hazardous History with Henry Winkler, admitted that he is not a thrill-seeker, he said his acting brings out his adventurous side.

"I am not a thrill seeker," he confessed. "I am thrilled... I remember years ago, with my children who are now in their 40s and 50s, I remember being on a chair life in Utah with them, traveling up and over the tops of snow-covered pine trees."

"[I was] thinking this might be one of the most beautiful moments I have ever had. That's my thrill," he added.

Talking about his new show, Winkler shared that he knew the show was perfect for him the moment it was pitched.“I knew from the first description that this was right up my alley.”

Describing the show Wribler recalled some bizarre activities from American history that would likely be discussed on his show like radioactive uranium in kids' science kits, mailing your child through the post office to his grandparents, and many more.

"I think the subtitle of this show is, 'Wait, we allowed that to happen?’” Winkler teased.

Hazardous History with Henry Winkler will start airing every Sunday from June 15 on The History Channel.
