Wendy Williams denies knowing about a lawsuit her ex-husband Kevin Hunter filed on her behalf.

The TV mogul broke her silence on the $250 million lawsuit this Thursday while speaking to TMZ, denying suing her legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, and the judge presiding over her guardianship case, Lisa Sokoloff.

"Nor do I want him to be a part of my life like that, no," Williams continued. "Because I'm divorced forever."

"He's a money-grubber; he's always been that way," the former talk show host added of Hunter. "It's good to know that he's doing such evil things — again."

As for the lawsuit filed on June 17, Williams is certain that Hunter "won't win."

Williams and Hunter were married for over two decades before divorcing in 2019. She was placed under a legal guardianship in 2022, with Morrissey granted full authority over her care and finances. In February 2024, her medical team confirmed she had been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Also named in the June 17 lawsuit are Sokoloff, Wells Fargo, and her assisted living facility among 48 defendants.
