Emma Stone has just revealed the "biggest draw" for signing Eddington.
While appearing for an interview with Extra, the two-times Academy award winner heaped praise on the movie’s director, Ari Aster.
"Honestly, I loved the script, but the biggest draw for me was Ari," the La La Land actress began.
Referring to his commercially successful directorial movies including Beau Is Afraid, Midsommar, and Hereditary, she continued, "I love Ari’s other films.”
"I like him so much as a person,” Stone lauded. “And had gotten to know him for years before this, and so when he asked me if I wanted to be a part of it, I just said yes because I really, really wanted to work with Ari."
Sharing her thoughts on potentially collaborating with him again in a future project, she told the outlet, "I would love to, if he’ll have me."
The Hollywood actress will star in the horror mystery movie alongside Pedro Pascal, Joaquin Phoenix, and Austin Butler.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old actress talked about her filming experience with her co-star, Pascal.
"I didn’t get to work with him. You’ll see in the movie, we don’t get to intersect, but I’ve gotten to hang out with him outside of it, so it feels like it all evened out," she said.
Moreover, she shared that she’ll watch Pascal’s upcoming movie, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is set to release on July 25, 2025.
"Of course I'm gonna see Fantastic Four. That trailer? With the song Fantastic Four where they're singing it? I mean, Pedro's enough for me, but then we got that great song? I'm in," Emma Stone concluded.
Eddington is scheduled to be released in cinemas on July 18, 2025.
