Zach Bryan heard his fans and showed it at his BST Hyde Park gig!
The iconic 29-year-old country musician responded to Ollie Hawkin’s daily and viral TikTok posts where he asked Zach if he could join him on stage for his birthday to perform the track, Heading South.
His post featured Ollie himself with a sign that read, “Hi my name is Ollie. I play music and today is my birthday. Can I play Heading South with you?”
Zach made his dreams come true with the simple reply, “Of course brother, can’t wait,” and then the pair performed the 2020 hit together in front of a crowd of 65,000 at the American Express presents BST Hyde Park Festival.
Ollie reacted to his wish coming true and took to Instagram to write, “Life changed. Die a happy man.”
Earlier, the Pink Skies crooner called himself the “luckiest man in the world to be here” as he drew a comparison between the sold-out Hyde Park show to his previous performances in the UK.
“We played Islington Assembly two years ago and we went back there last night. It’s crazy to go from 1000 people there to this crowd,” he recalled.
The Grammy award winning musician continued, “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be here. I love you so much London.”
Before gulping a can of Budweiser, he toasted to his fans and said: “Here’s to London, we f**king love you.”
It is also pertinent to mention that Zach Bryan debuted a new song titled, Streets of London which he wrote and recorded just four days before the gig and which will be released next week.
