Liam Gallagher shuts down rehearsal rumors with scathing response

Liam Gallagher has furiously denied that leaked soundcheck vocals are his after fans speculated the Oasis frontman was secretly rehearsing with estranged brother Noel before their reunion shows.

For the unversed, on Monday, June 30, people heard the song Cigarettes and Alcohol playing at the stadium in Cardiff before the first Oasis Live ’25 Tour show on Friday, July 4, per the report of WalesOnline.

It made people think that both Gallagher brothers might have been there together and would be rehearsing for their first shows in over 10 years.

Taking to X (previously Twitter), Liam talked about a video and the apparent soundchecks by writing, "Mmm I'm not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill man he's just so angry all the time I don't know who he thinks he is as far as I'm concerned he's just a bigmouth from up north."

A fan asked the 52-year-old English singer-songwriter to either "confirm or deny" whether he was rehearsing, to which the Stand by Me crooner replied, "I've been in my pool all day doing under water f**** so it's defo a recording from rehearsals unless there's 2 of me which I'm absolutely 1 million per cent here for well there for as well."
