Prince Harry received public support from his cousin Princess Eugenie as she opened up about her scoliosis surgery scars.
The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson used the moment to quietly support the Duke of Sussex as she talked about the Invictus Games.
Speaking with Scoliosis Support & Research charity, Eugenie said scars tell a story and should be worn with pride, much like the athletes who compete in Invictus Games.
"I think scars are, they tell a story about your life, you know, I mean if you think about what people go through, you know, like paralympians..."
"...like you know what they do on the world stage like and you know Invictus Games and all these people that have overcome absolute atrocities and wear their scars with pride like a badge of honor and I think the same goes for these operations that young people go throught,” she added.
Eugenie’s mention of the event came amid reports that Harry and Eugenie were feuding after the Princess was captured with Piers Morgan.
However, a source later told People Magazine that Harry and Eugenie would always be close. "The Duke [of Sussex] remains close to Princess Eugenie,” they said.
“They always have and always will be."
