The Sultan of Oman visited The King at Windsor Castle this afternoon and had tea with the monarch, said a brief statement issued by the royal family on Friday.
A picture of the King and his guest was also shared on the family's Instagram account with caption that read, "The Sultan of Oman visited The King at Windsor Castle this afternoon and remained to Tea."
According to the local media, the Sultan and King Charles III of the United Kingdom reviewed the distinguished relations between their two nations and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various spheres.
A report said that the discussions took place during their meeting at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, as part of the Sultan visit to the United Kingdom.
King Charles recently returned to England after a stay in Scotland with his wife Queen Camilla.
An earlier statement issued by the Buckingham Palace, the King and the Queen were visiting Scotland for Royal Week.
"Each year, the Monarch spends a week visiting various regions in Scotland, meeting Scots from all walks of life and hosting thousands at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in recognition of their good work," the statement released on July 2 said.
Later, multiple pictures and videos from the king's royal engagement in Scotland were posted on the family's social media accounts.
