Amal Clooney follows the no-phone rule in her home.

The 47-year-old British lawyer, who is married to Hollywood star, George Clooney and has eight-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander with him, mentioned how her guests are not allowed to use phones at her place, for the sake of her family’s privacy.

"Creating private moments and spaces is becoming increasingly difficult. But that’s also why we entertain a lot at home,” she told Glamour.

The human rights activist continued, "I now have a phone basket that I use to take everyone’s phones away!"

"It’s important to get that balance where you have time alone with your family and with your friends where people feel like you can have a safe and frank exchange,” Amal added.

Additionally, she also admitted that it was motherhood that changed her views on privacy as person who remains under the spotlight.

"And I would say becoming a parent means you’re more troubled by some of the intrusions,” she said.

“So, we do the best we can to minimize any impact on our children. We don’t put our children out there; we’ve never put their photo out there or anything like that,” Amal Clooney concluded.

Meanwhile, previously, her husband, stated how being married and having kids has made him realize how “lucky” he is.

"In marriage, and now with the kids, you give away the selfishness of only looking out for yourself. It's a wonderful thing. Amal and I talk about it every day. We feel so lucky," George Clooney told PEOPLE magazine of his married life.
