King Charles charity, The King's Foundation, has made a big announcement regarding new education programme.
The announcement was made on its X, formerly Twitter handle.
It says, “Introducing: The Costume Craft Programme for TV and film at Dumfries House.
“Our new textiles education programme teaches technical production skills related to the TV and film costume industry.”
Sharing details on its website the foundation says, “The programme is studio-based, and we require students to have a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.”
“Taught sessions will encourage students to develop their own learning style, create new ideas and learn specialist techniques, as well as featuring group discussions and tutorials.”
It further says, “We encourage students to reflect on their achievements and performance through on-going personal evaluation.”
The new announcement has been made days after Kate Winslet was announced as ambassador for The King’s Foundation.
Kate Winslet says, “I am delighted to become an Ambassador for The King’s Foundation in the charity’s 35th anniversary year. One of my passions is exploring ways that we can protect and promote the natural world – something I have in common with His Majesty!”
“I am therefore thrilled to put this passion into practice by working with The King’s Foundation. I look forward to supporting the charity’s life changing work to build sustainable communities and transform lives into the future,” she added.
