Sarah Paulson was recently awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and all her best friends made sure to honour her great milestone, including Pedro Pascal.

Pascal and the actress, 50, have known each other since 1993, when they were both 18 and, on the journey, to discover themselves, in New York City.

Although the Last of Us star, 50, couldn’t attend the event himself, he wrote down a speech and it was read out by Amanda Peet along with the other tributes.

“This is what [Pedro] wrote: Missing this makes it too hard to find words. I can thank you both for my ridiculous fortune. Two birds grabbing sticks I never knew were for me and anyone in your heart,” Peet read.

She continued, “To Sarah, I’ll just say there is no me without you. Without you, I wouldn’t believe in the moon or the sun in the sky. You are the opening in the road. You are the decorated forest, and most importantly, you’re my friend, and I’m yours eternally.”

The Game of Thrones actor ended his note with a heartwarming declaration, writing, “I’m so f------ proud of you. More, more, I love you more. Period.”

The best friends have often shared insights into meeting each other at such a young age and going through all their formative experiences together, in various interviews.

In a 2014 interview with Interview magazine, Pascal said, “I met you, Sarah Paulson, in September of 1993, my first month in New York City. I was really lucky because my first friend at NYU lived in Brooklyn, Kristen, and went to high school with you, so your guys’ posse kind of adopted me.”
