Chris Noth follows up Sarah Jessica Parker remark with bizarre explanation

Chris Noth has responded to the backlash which was sparked from his recent explicit rant against Sex and the City co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker.

The actor took to his Instagram once again to diffuse the situation in his own way, suggesting that his comments were merely “sarcastic” while oddly claiming that “there are more important things to worry about.”

“My off the cuff slightly sarcastic response to a comment on the internet seems to have caused a tempest in a teapot,” Chris, 71, wrote in his caption.

“It is not news. It is not worth all this discussion. It is a waste of time in a world where there are more important things to worry about,” he concluded.

The follow-up came five days after the former HBO alum shared a gym snap with the caption, “F&@k new years - LETS GO!!!!”

When a follower commented, “You mean f— sjp & her award right? lol,” Chris responded with a simple, “Right.” (Sic)

While the comment was a reference to Sarah’s latest Carol Burnett Award at the Golden Globes last week, Chris’s reaction likely stemmed from the iconic TV duo’s fallout due to his sacking from And Just Like That..., the Sex and the City reboot.

Chris Noth was fired after facing sexual assault allegations from two women in 2021, with Sarah Jessica Parker and the other actresses in the show’s main cast saying in an official statement, “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”
