KARACHI: Pakistan registered an exciting 3-2 victory over hosts Ireland-VI in their second match of IBSF World Team Snooker Championship in Carlow (Ireland) on Wednesday.
In their third match in the afternoon, Pakistan hammered Finland 5-0.
Earlier in their first match, Pakistan defeated England 4-1 to make an impressive start in the championship.
Pakistan duo of Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Sajjad are showing good form.
In the IBSF 6-Reds World Championship Reigning World Amateur Champion Muhammad Asif chalked out second win with 12-58, 36-22, 44-01, 41-11, 12-37, 32-34, 43-23 victory over Jason Devaney of Ireland.
Like Asif, former Asian number two Muhammad Sajjad made an emphatic start when he smashed Ahmed Benranssi of France 35-23, 30-0, 37-0, 55-0. (APP)
