Princess Beatrice, who is already going through a difficult time owing to her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandals and the recent arrest, is now struck with a new heartbreak.
The 37-year-old royal and her sister Eugenie have kept a low profile since their father was taken in for questioning following the discoveries made in the Epstein files.
While Eugenie has taken a stern approach by distancing herself from her parents, Beatrice still holds a soft corner for her parents. And even though her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has been a strong supporter of Beatrice, the princess’s in-laws are enraged by the whole situation, according to a report by New Idea.
Sources claim that the growing tensions could cause serious trouble for Beatrice’s marriage.
“There’s nothing good about any of this, and yes, it’s affecting everyone in their immediate circles,” Edo’s friend claimed.
“Edo’s family is Italian aristocracy, so they’re beside themselves and furious that their son is wrapped up in the York wreckage. Andrew’s arrest could damage business prospects and family reputation.”
The insider added that Edo, who shares two daughters with Beatrice, “loves” his wife and has “no plans to leave” his young family.
But Edo’s family is a little less forgiving as they believe that the York name is “toxic” and they now have to think of their children’s future.
