Scary Movie star Jenny McCarthy addresses the viral clone claims surrounding her ex. Jim Carrey after he made an appearance at the César Awards.

Tv star McCarthy, addressing the viral Clone conspiracy theory involving Jim Carrey, revealed in an interview with People, that “It was definitely Jim Carrey” who attended the French awards show.

The Bruce Almighty actor accepted an honorary prize at a French awards show in February, but generated buzz for his different appearance social media.

Some online detectives went one step further and floated a conspiracy theory, claiming that Carrey had been replaced by a clone or someone had taken on his identity at the award ceremony.

The Masked Singer judge Jenny McCarthy, lambasted online sleuths, saying they can’t see anyone happy. “He looked very happy at that award show. And I was happy for him. That’s the first thing I noticed. I said, ‘Oh wow, Jim looks really happy.’”

Jim Carrey made a rare appearance in public at the César Awards, a French version of the Oscars to accept an honorary César, giving a speech entirely in French.
